真人版《美女與野獸》上映折價券代碼後風波不斷，因片中提及同性戀情節，在馬來西亞無限期延遲上映。昨（16）日在香港上映後，卻被爆料有學校因為電影內容涉及同性戀，要求家長別帶小孩去看此電影。
據港媒報導， 香港一所學校因為認為《美女與野獸》與原作有出入，刻意插入一段來福對自己性向感到疑惑，想親吻加斯頓的情節，被學校認為是在宣揚同性戀，特別發出通知信，內容提到：「神不喜悅同性戀，所以我們呼籲家長不要帶孩子或讓孩子觀看此電影。」甚至認為此舉才是引領孩子們走在正道上，到老也不會偏離，最後還加上校長的簽名。關於此消息，香港迪士尼還未作出回覆。

上週充滿濃濃的耶誕佳節氣氛，就在雲林縣古坑東和區校園充滿熱鬧棒球風，上週四校園耶誕表演活動，許多班級學生在學生特別練習下，表演2016年統一獅加油主題曲，其中包括「南霸天」、「統一我愛你」及「勇敢飛翔」等歌曲，學生們展現活潑熱情在舞台，家長們把學生精彩表演上傳Youtube，獲得許多球迷好評，球隊也將影片轉貼統一獅官方粉絲團。
球團感謝東和國小學生們熱情表演，特別在聖誕佳節前，與學校校長聯繫，特別安排本日早上由萊恩擔任頒獎嘉賓，在全校朝會時，特別致贈統一獅TEE恤及點心，給表演班級學生，讓喜歡統一獅的孩子們最特別的驚喜，也是孩子們遲來的聖誕禮物。
今早六時，萊恩特別從台南棒球場出發前往東和國小，抵達時恰逢學生打掃時間，貼心萊恩也跟著學生們一起打掃維持校園整潔，也跟學生們玩在一起。今日朝會除了由萊恩擔任頒獎嘉賓外，也特別與每個班級合影，讓學生們留下最難忘回憶。朝會結束，學生們不捨萊恩離開，也相約明年要到斗六棒球場統一獅主場賽事，展現活力表演給大家看。
